Local Clubs Service Projects

Local clubs are well known for their commitment and service to facilitate support for the deaf and hard of hearing, people with speech difficulties, and women and children.  Clubs currently provide service projects in the following areas:

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Learning

• Partner with NASA Astro Camp
• Emphasis on girls and STEM
• Local STEM programs

Speech and Hearing

• Sound Field Amplification Systems for schools
• Audiology Center
• Hearing aids for infants and children
• Speech Clinics

Women and Children

• Domestic Violence
• Family Living Centers

Scholarships

• Students in the fields of Speech and Hearing Pathology, Audiology, Social Work, Early Childhood Education
• Deaf, hard of hearing, or speech impaired going into any major field
