HOW IMPORTANT ARE FRIENDS TO YOUR HEALTH, HAPPINESS AND LONGEVITY?
Join us for a special Quota USA Friendsgiving Zoom Call - Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 7:30 PM ET.
Make this event a Friendsgiving gathering event. We are providing a special Jambalaya recipe that is easy to make for a crowd and a recipe for Brown Butter Jam Bars. Jambalaya is a rice and meat dish that is favored by the Cajuns in Louisiana. You can substitute smoke sausage for Cajun andouille sausage. These recipes are from a Louisiana Chef April Hamilton who will greet us on the call and provide her cookbook for a giveaway. April has been featured in several high-profile magazines and she is inspirational. Her food is delicious. You must be present to win! Invite Quota members and other friends to share in this special evening.
Dr. Bill Chopik will speak on his scientific research on the effect of friends on our Health, Happiness and Longevity. He was recognized as one of Forbes magazine’s Top 30 Scientists Under 30 and has been recognized as a Rising Star by the Association for Psychological Science.
In this talk, he will review the evidence of the impact of friendships and how they may be more beneficial than most people think and how important they are through a human lifespan. He also discusses why people struggle to form meaningful friendships and what they can do to forge stronger ones.
Make plans to have a Friendsgiving affair on Thursday, November 16 and enjoy special food and fellowship. The food will be delicious, and it will be fun.
